These symptoms often arise as a response to prolonged stress, anxiety, or past trauma, functioning as a defense mechanism to emotional overwhelm. While medication can sometimes help, it’s not always the most effective solution on its own, especially if it has worsened your symptoms in the past. Therapy, particularly approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and grounding techniques, can help you regain a sense of control by addressing both the underlying anxiety and the thought patterns that reinforce these feelings of detachment. Developing strategies to manage stress, reconnect with your emotions, and create a structured daily routine can also be beneficial. You’re not alone in this, and there are ways to work through these feelings. If you’re open to it, we can explore personalized strategies to help you regain a sense of self and stability
