Talk to Pediatrician on 9-month-old With Head Fall, Swelling Changed After Warm Compress, Now Fever

My 9-month-old fell from bed 2 days ago and developed a large round swelling on the head. An X-ray at the ER showed no fracture. I used a warm compress initially, and the swelling flattened and spread to a wider, flatter area. Now there’s a smaller lump left, but today she has a fever. She’s currently eating, drinking, sleeping, and playing normally. I’ve given her fever medicine.

1. Is this pattern of swelling spreading/flattening after heat typical for a scalp hematoma? 2.Should she be re-examined even if she’s acting normal right.
