Assalam-o-Alaikum,
My daughter is one month old. She passed meconium at the time of delivery; however, since then, she has not been able to pass stool on her own. She only passes stool when a glycerin suppository is inserted; otherwise, she does not. We have consulted a doctor, who advised an X-ray, and an ultrasound was also performed. According to the ultrasound report, everything appears normal. Despite this, I am concerned about why she is unable to pass stool independently. Kindly guide me on what steps I should take?
I can help and guide you properly
kindly see a paediatrician and paediatric surgeon for a full assessment. there seems to be gaseous distention with decreased air in rectum/pelvic region. also don't make a habit of giving suppositories, motherfeed two hourly
