Talk to Pediatrician on High Fever
Asking For Someone else, Son, Male, 011 Years old, Lahore
My son of age 11 months is having fever since 3 days. 102 and even goes to 103, 104. Giving panadol and brufen alternately but again in 4 hrs fever spikes. Pls guide reason and any medicine.

fever can be due to virus infections ( most common cause) but may be due to various bacterial infections as well.
if there are no viral symptoms such as runny nose, sore throat or dry cough, then bacterial infection needs to be ruled out.
Fever has 101 causes, complete history and examination very important for diagnosis, book appointment of some doctor
go to emergnacy dept of nearby hospital
take him to paeds OPD
It is permanently treatable with some medicine, so don’t worry.

This is high grade fever .is there any other symptom along with fever like cough ,pain abdomen ,ear ach,vomiting ,??better to visit near by hospital for complete examination n further workup if needed n start appropriate treatment ..don’t delay plz
