Asking For Other, Female 7, lahore

My daughter age 7.5 accidentally swallowed a tiny magnet. I tried to make he vomit but she couldn't.. she is doing fine . I tried to spot the magnet in her stool as well but I didn't find any. Should I take her to hospital for further assessment or it'll be out on it's on?

It's good that your daughter is currently doing fine after swallowing the magnet. To provide you with the most appropriate advice, I need to know:

1. Size and Shape of the Magnet: Could you describe how big the magnet was (e.g., like a pea, a button, etc.) and what shape it was (e.g., round, square, disc)?
2. Number of Magnets: Are you certain she only swallowed one magnet?

Knowing these details will help determine the best course of action.

Although single magnet does not create issues but if more than one can cause obstruction. Best route to go is take child to hospital emergency

Usually one button sized magnet passes out with stool. But you need to see her bowel movements. Anyways it's better to go to a hospital emergency. ASAP

Take to emergency is better option though usually single magnet doesn’t cause obstruction. But if more than one , go to emergency
