Talk to Pediatrician on Umbilical Hernia
Asking for Mother, Female, 2 years old, Germany
Aoa. Need an opionion from a pediatric surgeon. This is a two years old girl. Her belly button looks abit different and swollen when she stands and looks normal when she is lying down. This is a recent developement,1st noticed a couple of months ago. No pain,redness or anything. Could this be umbilical hernia? Or is it just a normal umbilicus?
WS....yes this is umbilical/supra umbilical hernia and should be operated.

Umblical hernia. You can wait. It can b cured itself by age 5. If not then consult Peads surgery
