Talk to Pediatrician on Night Cough Attacks Only When Lying Down That Would Not Stop For Hours All Night

my daughter 10 years old developed dry cough 8 days ago , I started giving her rigix and acifyl syrup and simple saline nebulize twice a day but 3 days ago she started to have cough attacks only when lying down at bed time to sleep ,all day she would have little cough but in the night when ready for bed and lying down as soon as she hit the pillow cough starts and she would continuously cough without break for 4 to 5 hours .I took her to emergency Sunday morning and the doctor said that she had obstructive sleep apnea and gave the same medicines that I was already giving just changed the formula and the doctor did not say anything about nebulize, as i was already giving her simple saline nebulize at home on pharmacist suggestion I gave ventolin with saline only then she was able to sleep after coming back from emergency for 5 to 6 hours ,again night came and same thing happened that she couldn't sleep kept coughing continuously I took her outside the room and made her sit ,do her thing
