In interstitial cystitis, these signs are confused, you need to urinate more often and with less urine than most people. Interstitial cystitis often affects women and can have a lasting effect on the quality of life. Although there is no cure, medications and other therapies can help. This disorder can be treated with Physical therapy, oral medications like nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, bladder distention or surgery.
