Talk to Pediatrician on Constipation For Past 8 Days

My niece who is around 3.5 years old is constipated for the past 8 days, last year the same thing happened, we don't know what the cause is, currently giving her fibro syrup and Calcid-d syrup, as vitamin d was quite low last time and was the cause pointed out last year by the doctor. please tell me what we should do.

continue fibosyp.give her fruit and vegetables.do her thyroid functions test
For emergency management associated with abdomen distension , you can use glycerine suppositories at home for instant relief.
If still does not settle ,please visit nearest hosp ER.
However if the abdomen is still soft and the baby is tolerating food,then I would suggest you continue with Fibo syrup and vit D as advised along with encouraging healthy diet including fresh fruits and vegetables along the whole day together with plays that enhance physical activities.( maintain good hydration)
Also specialist review is recommended to rule out the cause of constipation if the problem has persisted for more than 6 months now.
