Asking For Brother, Male 35, Lahore
My brother is experiencing pain under his big toe and it looks slightly swelled as well. The pain is travelling from the under side towards the side bone of the big toe on the outer side. I am attaching pictures as well. Kindly help as he is in a lot of pain and cannot walk properly as well.
Tinea pedis is the most common dermatophytosis because moisture resulting from foot sweating facilitates fungal growth. Tinea pedis may occur as any of 4 clinical forms or in combination:
Chronic hyperkeratotic
Chronic intertriginous
Acute ulcerative
Vesiculobullous
You dufilm gel on foot at this point and scrap it after ten mins. it will go away but it take time. Also use any pain killer if pain is unbearable
Looks like callosity. Please use comfortable shoes for 2 weeks. If it doesn't resolve then, see an Orthopedic surgeon for assessment.
