Well the cause of knee pain has to be worked out. So she needs a thorough examination by the surgeon to look into the cause of pain . There are many . In the mean time she needs good physical therapy exercises and for short term pain control can try a pain killer like Tramal Plus , May be twice or thrice after food .
Use Walker and electric heating pad multiple times a day
Salam, you didnt mention when knee replacement was do e, better to ask these questions to the surgeon who have replaced your mother's knee. However pain in knee after knee replacement is alarming sign for ?infection.
