Asking for Mother, Female, 50 years old, Multan
Please approve my question since There was no answer before.my mother had a hernia surgery about 10 years ago. her weight has increased significantly since then. she has multiple lumps near her incision. she is unable to do basic household work because of the pain in the entire body. her feet and hands get swollen whenever she does basic chores. Please tell me what has happened and which type of doctor to consult.
probably she has a recurrence of hernia as per the picture you have given..need to be examined further..you can visit my clinic at ziauddin ..if its a recurrence it will need surgery to fix it..

Nothing can be commented unless the abdomen is palpated . You must go to a general surgeon to get your mother examined . Preferrably from the same center where the initial operation was done . since the units usually have much information
