Asking for Sister, Female, 31 years old, Lahore
Respected Doctor,
My sister has the problem of continuous weight gain which never stopped despite of controlling her diet. She approached the doctor for this issue and doctor asked for TSH, Urine Examination and Blood Sugar Test (reports are attached). Kindly see the reports and advice if these reports (especially urine examination) is OK or otherwise.

Thanks for your querry. She has urine infection which should be treated and some further investigations should be done. Send her Urine MCS and start antibiotic therapy with tab. ciproxin 500(1+1) for 5 days and in the meantime the MCS result will come so share that. further history is required to know more about her renal symptoms like long swelling or face swelling ? Blood pressure? dietary intake ? etc. Hope it helps. Stay home and safe.

please get her ultrasound abdomen and pelvis to look for any abnormality as polycystic ovaries.is she married? does she complaint of any menstrual irregularity?is there any facial swelling or feet swelling? please answer these questions.stay home stay safe
Her urine test is abnormal.she is having urinary tract infection.further investigations required include ultrasound abdomen and RFTs.

She needs urine culture and start antibiotics till the result of culture available. DO usg abdomen for pcos, and 24 hour urinary cortisol level. Examination of patient is needed to make a diagnosis
