Sir I am suffering maculer corneal destrophy both eye my vision is 6/36. Docter recumended me for corneal transplant (PKP).I Am worried about the success rate of corneal transplant can you advised me to do this plz. Thanks.

Most of the time, the procedure does produce very good visual results.
However most of the recovery will depend on the quality of the graft.
If your vision is effecting your life style then only treatment is corneal transplant results depend on type of graft available so better to choose from best available if using commercially available ones do it on one eye which has worst vision and later can decide about other eye after results an recovery
