Asking for Other, Male, 2.5 years old, London

Slam. I have noticed one of the eyelids of my son has more creases than other. Is this ptosis? Should I consult with a doctor? I have scrolled through his previous pics. This thing started to appear about 5 months ago but less noticeable.

I asked this about a week ago but no one replied thats why posting it again

As no pics are here to review so it might be ptosis Consult a pediatric ophthalmologist over there

Aoa. When there is lid crease then its not a congenital ptosis. See the crease on upper eyelid is formed by a muscle called levator which elevates the upper eyelid. Also the upper eyelid im your child seems to covering about 2 mm of cornea which is normal. Pl send a picture from front in upper gaze, down gaze.

Wslam. Thank you dr. I am unable to upload pics here.

His double crease is visible only on this angle. I have also noticed that his other eye also has second crease but less in width. And when eyes opens in that pic wala angle, less wider crease goes inside and more wider crease shows up. Did you get my point?

You need to see an oculoplastic ophthalmologist to confirm.See Dr Irfan Jeeva at AKU. He’s does this and is also a kiddy ophthalmologist
