aslam o alikum ! i was diagnosed hyperthyroidism since last year and started my treatment tab. neo-mercazole as advised by doctor . allhamdullah my TSH is now in normal range . but i feel that my left eye is in bulge . i visited to ophthalmologist . my reports are normal including CT of brain, PNS and orbit . he said its a side effet of thyroidism he also told me that this is reversible and if not then recomend me the surgery for this . i am attaching the pic of my eye . please guide me .
w.s is it giving you any other eye problem except cosmesis? it happens with hyperthyroidism and if doesnt settle and gives any problem then surgically it can be corrected. but if there is no eye problem then wait n watch is best option
You have to be assessed first why do you want surgery if there is no problem with vision
your eye doctor is right. keep consulting him

thanks for answer . no there is nothing except this. no sign of ulergy etc but this make me depressed because its a promenent disorder and everyone can notice this . yes one thing is (i am using glasses almost from 5years due to week eyesite)

ignore people..give it some time to recover by itself otherwise surgery is option
