Talk to Orthopedic Surgeon on Avascular Necrosis
Asking For Self, Male 38, Lahore
I'm 38 yrs old and was Diagnosed with Avascular Necrosis at the age of 27 because of excessive use of STEROIDS during meningitis. I had done with Bone Graffting (decompression) in both Hip Joints. Unfortunately, I had to go for Total Hip Replacement of my left joint. Now after almost 10 yrs, I am having pain in my Right Joint, it is not bearing my weight now. And when I walk my walk is not balanced. Having severe pain while walking and even a slight movement creates pain, that goes towards my knee. My X rays is attached. Need suggestions and recommendation.

Hello , Your rt hip also is not good condition. X-ray shows advanced degenerative changes , it also need total joint replacement . Try these medicine for 1 week . You can use painkillers for pain and a heel raise to balance your Leg lengths. Use an elbow crutch while walking.
Ultimately you will need a total hip replacement.

total hip replacement is best solution. don't delay too much. you already getting cystic bone changes in acetabulum as well. it's not good

i can give you an estimate of cost. for young age uncemented implant is used. American or uk made implants cost around 250-3lac.
