My 2.5 month old daughter's hip joints are out of circut that's why she has hip Spica. Today we noticed that a mashroom plant is there. It's lenth is almost 5,6 inches.. Tomorrow we ll go to the orthopaedic but i want know is it familiar?

Thanks... Carelessness is very harmful... But only for those who are suffering.... When thry discharged my daughter from hospital they didn't gave us any information or suggestions. Aftet few days we searched on google and learnt the proper way of pampering in this condition.

i understand. anyone who is dealing with a plaster for first time, need some training and education.
in uk we used to give very clear written leaflets about how to look after plaster casts. unfortunately that doesn't happen here
i am sure this will be learning point for your treating physcian and his team.
