Adenotonsillectomy And Asthma

assalamu alaikum.my son dob 6 march 2014 age 4.5 has enlarged adenoids and swollen tonsills. He is also asthmatic.Weight is 16 kg in winter clothing.Leading surgeons have difference of opinion regarding adenotonsillectomy. We are also afraid of surgery due to hyper nature of child and general anesthesia.child is asthmatic as well.

If you are not willing for surgery , start antibiotics along with strict control over diet and asthma treatment for at least 4-5 years

Actually he gets asthma and cough after few months may be at every change of weather and then we give medicines nebulize and even get ready to get adenoidectomy done but then he gets better and we again postpone surgery. This keeps happening. Is surgery and anesthesia safe and is cough and asthma related to adenoidectomy .although he always snores and sleeps with open mouth but real trouble is when he gets cough attacks

Another important thing i forgot to mention is that he has a lesion on his hand that gets swollen whenever he has troubles of health .dermatologist did biopsy and he said that mactocytosis is possible but it has no cure so mastocytotic biopsy wasnt done
