My son is 40 days old.. he has a dimple just abive his buttocks i went to peadrition he said its nothing to worry about it can be spina bifidia becoz dimple with tuft of hair ia related to spina bifidia ... he said nothing to worry he will be normal kid in sha allah ... jab bara ho to MRI kara lijiye ga air bachy ko na surgery ki zarorat hai aur na hi kisi treatment ki ... alhamdolillah my baby moves hia legs properly he is mashallah gaining weight and increasing in height also .. me ne parhaa k iski foran surgery honi chahye etc etc .. mujhe samajh nahi aaraha k doctor ne baghir ultrasound k kaise diagnose kardi itni bari beemari mere bachy ko aur mujhe pragnancy k doraan har ultrasound main doctor ne kaha k baby normal hai koi masla nahi to agar kli masla thaa to merw anomoly scan maim kiyon nahi aaya ?? Plzz main kiaa karon mujhe bataen ? Mere husband k bhi aise hi dimple hai same jagah pe
if baby is moving legs, passing stools and urine normally and has good tone and strength in the legs then it is very reassuring.
if there are tuft of hair or birth mark around the simple then needs an MRI scan. otherwise no need to worry.
The dimples and hair may not be picked up on anomaly scan.

Doctor some light hair are present but not a tuft of hair .. i mean guchaa type nai hai lekin halky halky se baal hain soft se

Jahan dimple hai woh sacral bone nahi balkay coccyx bone wala hissa hai tail wala takreeban ... baal tuft ki soorat main nahi hain.. bus halky halky naram baal hain 10 12 baal hongay
