My younger sister was brought for checkup to dr nemat ullah's ent clinic on 4th jan 2018 to akbar medical center with symptoms i.e sore throat , fever and ear infection with discharge...after examination she was told that she has rt ear perforated tympanic membrane due to ear infection....she was prescribed with biflocin 500 mg tds, cefspan 400 mg, 1 antihistamine and 1 nsaid and some ear drops...she used it and completed the course and got well but now again has sore throat since yesterday night , with fever and both ears aching (but rt one more and with no discharge) since today's morning ....kindly prescribe us smt to subside her misery as its holiday and his clinic is closed today.....that's why i have to seek for online consultation ...plz help
She might have recurrent pharyngitis or tonsillitis... the probable reason for earache is referred otalgia as she had perforated ear drum before. So it's already late now..... it's not a holiday today.... get her examined from some ENT specialist.
She might have be suffering from recurrent upper respiratory tract infection which has both throat problems as well as ear problems because all aspects of ENT are interconnected.
