I am 7months PP. Breastfed my baby for 2.5months and then had to quit for because she became used-to formula and refused breastfeed altogether. The problem now is that my left breast look bigger and heavier than the right one. The right one has stopped milking but I still get milk from the left one if I press a bit hardly. I feel light pain in the side of the breast as well when I move my hand upwards or backwards i.e. when the muscles stretch. And there is tiny bump in my armpit as well that aches if pressed. I am extremely worried. What might this be? What should be done? I am too shy to go for a test or something. Can I try Augmentin and hot fomentation? Maybe its an infection since I am not breastfeeding.
Salam get urself checked because there is nothing to be shy about . Get ur ultrasound breast done to determine the cause . Medicines can only be prescribed after examination and reports
Thanks it is better to see dr for any signs of infection nd mass in the armpit you can try augmentene nd hot formatation if not improved see dr
My advise to you as follows : You are a young lady - might b muscular - pain - do a self breast examination- if u hav a positive family history get ultrasound of breast done - hope fully all will b good
