Yes i have spoken to my gynae she gave me a choice between iud and implanon (hormonal). But my only concern for her referring both was that i have a history of depression. And just scared that those hormones might trigger something

Why implanon is my first query...when u hv such good and effective long acting reversible contraceptives available...
Implanon can giv u a no of side effects like mood swings,weight gain,ir regular bleeds,local tissue reactions etc...
Hv good contraception councelling session wth ur OBG and choose a suitable effective method fr urself...
I wont advise implanon to a client who is willing to have a longer inter pregnancy interval...

Because im currently looking for a 3 year gap maximum. None further then that. And the gynae i referred to said it has lesser side effects then iud and is much comfortable then that.
Plus i have members in the family whove been through iud and gained alot of weight had an infection and their bleeding wouldnt stop
