Asking for Sister, Female, 26 years old, Multan
My sister got married on this month 8 march 2019.... her periods date was 14 march.... yet she has not periods.... it may be a pregnancy?? Today she has cramps or pain on lower stomach and back pain..... and today she faced a thick discharge.... please guide
she can have simple panadol for pain relieve and wait for few days .for discharge needs examination to rule out infection and its also important if she has any urinary complaints

its better to wait .as chances to conceive in last days of cycle are less but still she can wait for few days or a week if no bleedin then can have a pregnancy test

How much chances are there to get pregnant just before 6 days of periods date she got married...
- wellcome and thanks for preffering marham for your health Consultation.
- Dear cramps or pain could have Many reasons like hormonal effects either of fertilization/ implantation or Could be due to Pelvic infection .
- have high vaginal swab if discharge is coloured / irritative causing itching / smelly check causative organism of infection .
- have one serum beta hcg ( blood Pregnancy test ) to check Pregnancy status as urine Pregnancy test and ultrasound mostly can not very early pregnancy .
- have folic acid daily .
- if Pregnancy test comes positive keep strict check on Symmptoms like one sided lower abdominal this need to be reported as Urgent and need detailed evaluation in gynae Emergency to check need of urgent intervention if proves Ectopic / out side uterus Pregnancy .if remains aymmptomatic have scan after 2 wks .
- if beta hcg negative then further management will be different .
- follow with beta hcg and hvs report .
- if hvs reports infection then will need antibiotics .
- follow with beta hcg report ( urgent )as hvs report takes time .
- have strict hygeine.
- sitz warm baths and olive oil massage if observe irritation.
- avoid local cosmetics and creams and use water for cleaning and soft razor for removal of unwanted Hairs .
- soft comfortable Undergarments.
- follow with beta hcg report .

She is taking folic acid before her marriage... almost 1 year back...
1 thing...... I am unmarried... i can take folic tblts too???

I got confused with dates actually !...
if periods regular then after fertile period of cycle she got married .
less chances of conception actually IF CYCLES REGULAR .
Can wait to have serum beta hcg if remains Asymmptmatic .
hvs to be on safe side to check infection.
folic acid can be taken if want to have Pregnancy in near future .

Dr.uzma mohsin.. actually she has periods on time.. but first 3 to 4 days she always has spotting .. then after 3,4 days periods comes in norml......

Can’t be pregnant If she got married on 8 th March, may be her periods got delayed becoz of stress or change of environment, just wait and see
It less likely to be a pregnancy but can go for pregnancy test. For pain take panadol
