Yes. On and off pain is ok as nature is preparing for labour. Regular pains 2 to 3 in 10 min indicate labour. keep an eye on fetal movements. All the best.

-Dear at 38 wks body should already in process of development of labour.
- have daily walk, Light Exercise and yoga.
-have balanced diet, weight and Bmi.
-have Complete treatment of any health issue u have.
-have Receeation Activities and quit recreational drugs.
-have plenty of water, try to avoid urinary tract infection.
-in case of water leakage, pain better to have detailed Evaluation in gynae Emergency to check progress of labour.

u might b in inactive stage of labour if pain is accompanied by tightening of tummy on and off...or u might b hvg UTI...

Dear there might b slight false labour pains. But thats gud. To rule out urinary tract infection,look if u are having increased frequency of urination,burning micturation.
If not..then its ok.
