Dear Drs. I am 11 week pregnant after multiple miscarriage i got pregnant.. i didn't want to take risk so i went for early scan , at my second ultrasound baby's heartbeat was detected and called for another scan after 12 weeks . Dr prescribed me duphaston and IVF 5000 IU inj. + inj clexane i wasn't prescribed to get thrombosis test done but i am thalessimia minor so dr prescribed inj clexane daily till baby is born .. i didn't take any because of shortage due Covid 19 but i want to ask is it safe to take this inj or should i have thrombosis test first?

- Dear as per your description ,due to history of recurrent miscarriages u need to have proper blood thining medications with monitoring as required .
- thalassemia minor history also indicates to have aspirin and clexane under supervision of senior obstetrician with regular antenatal visits and scans.
- better to consult treating Obstetrician and follow advice as given to avoid any risks .
