I did iui on 19 feb. Two weeks r completed. Today I noticed light bleeding which turned into brown spotting. After that I took D-Gest 10 mg (dydrogesterone) .I don't know it was implantation bleeding or my periods, but my bleeding stopped. I can't go for hcg test right now. Should I take D-gest again or not till my hcg test?

- Dear it's better to have progesterone for support 10 mgs twice daily .
- u can have beta hcg at 4th weeks of pregnancy or just before expected date if next periods and stop only if beta hcg comes Negative .
- report one sided lower abdominal pain to gynae Emergency immediately to check need of detailed urgent Intervention .
- stop progesterone only if beta hcg comes Negative .

Please get advice from your gynaecologist who has done IUI. They will guide you better when to go for test and for how long progestogen support is needed.
