Hi i want to ask u that it is important to have a good follicle size at day 12 if someone has no follicle at day 12 and if she is ovulating on day 20 to 21 with the 34 cycle length it is possible to conceive? And if it is not important to have follicles on day 12 so why every dr told to go for tvs on cycle day 12... pls need little bit guidance for my sister..

- Dear normally and mostly cycle length is 28 days where as it could be 30 or 35 days as well.
- in 28 days cycles follicles could be seen developing at 12 days where as in more long cycles t could develop a bit late .
- cycles of all length last 14 days post ovulation fixed where as pre Ovulation periods differs in length .
- for Ovulation induction clomid is advised from day 2 for 5 days 50 mgs can increase to 100 to 150 mgs in that case scan us advised to track follicles but not necessarily follicles should develp on 12 th day .in natural process with out medications can develop late as well depend on cycle length.
- should have sex in fertile period of Cycle .
take folic acid daily .
have complete treatment of any health issue she or husband have .
if all her tests normal have semen analysis for husband ,request him to quit smoking if have been taking .
follow with detailed history and tests reports to have detailed guidance .

What about femara its also use for induction?

And it is necessary to go for tvs aftr taking clomid or femara? Because in dubai tvs is very expensive ....

Can have Femara
if took medication for ovulation induction it's better to have sex in suspected fertile days to have Conception along with foluc acid regularly.

start 2.5 mgs per day from day 3-7 of periods and have sex from day 8 to day 20 if long cycles on alternate days .
then follow .
