I have crystal in ovary. I am very depress for that what should i do for it it is 6cm big and people said that the solution of it you operate it now what i do i don't understand anything

- dear It would be better if u would send me Detailed gynae ,obs ,medical ,surgical history or your Scan report .
- I think u have mentioned size of Cyst here that is 6 cms and is advised to remove .
- It's better to have serum CA 125 tumour Markers to Exclude any cancer .
- Cyst if increasing in size and with follow up scans then it could have torsion ,could have rupture that can spill cystic Fluid locally and can trigger infection.
- if serum CA 125 comes normal then we should follow thru size of Cyst .
- if cyst less then 4 cms then it could resolve gradually .
- if cyst size is above 5 cms and less then 7 cms then it should monitor via scan 6 months to one yearly to check it's size .
- if size is not reducing for cyst around 7 and is better to remove .
- if not remove then chances of infection ,fluid spillage over local area ,torsion can happen.
- u can opt for laparoscopy for Removal of Cyst .
- First have check on CA 125 if it comes normal then u can decide either want to wait further with scan monitoring 6 months to yearly or want to remove .But if not removed can have rupture inside and can spill it's fluid locally that can leads to infection.
