Talk to Gynecologist on Periods

Is it normal to have brown diacharge before periods...actually i had laparoscopy for endometriosis 2 months ago....so i m bit concerned....my doc prescribed me lezra last month...but my egg size was 1.2mm...its not good....she said try otherwise if periods come next time take lezra 2 times a day for 5 days....so its my period day but i m having only brown discharge....do i need to worry?? Is my cyst came back....or it is because of lezra....and plz tell me should i start taking lezra???
