Hello. I'm four months postpartum. I used to breast feed but since 15 days it has gradually stopped. Now there is no milk production but since 2-3 days I am having pain and tenderness in my left breast. Kindly guide me related to the problem and also tell which doctor should I consult either a gynecologist or breast specialist.

- Dear every one have different capacity to breast feed .
- U should have more nutritious diet during breast feed then in Pregnancy.
-have calcium wth vit D and iron supplements .
- try to have Complete emptying of breast ,as remaing engorged milk could Cause pain in breast,u can have milk Expulsion by hot foamentation,warm baths and oil massage post hot foamentation.
-have one Consultation with breast Specialist if symmptoms remains after above precautions .
- for pain u can have tab postan 500 mgs 8 hrly .
