Asking For Wife, Female 25, Lahore
My wife is 17 weeks pregnant. We went to gynacologist today. Her BP was 120/85. Doctor said that her BP is on the border line. Start taking Loprin. One tab every day. Doctors said that vessels get thick and to ensure smooth circulation of blood you should take loprin every day. Please suggest. Is it safe?
Does she hav any previous history of raised BP during pregnancy or otherwise?
It is safe to take Aspirin 75mg during pregnancy
However we should have at least two readings of BP on higher side to start this or there should be previous history of high BP in pregnancy or prior to Pregnancy
Taking a prescribed dose of aspirin, together with the drug heparin, helps
to prevent the clots from forming. This treatment can dramatically reduce
the risk of miscarriage. Low-dose aspirin therapy is safe during *pregnancy*,
and its benefits for you if you have Hughes Syndrome outweigh any potential
harm.
