A.O.A I'm married and before 17/days I took primolut N during holly kabba visit for 14 days ...now i m not using this medicine since 17 days and I have missed my period since 17 days... today I take pregnancy strip test and its shows positive and now I want to ask which lab test is best to check pregnancy either urine or blood test plz guide me soon

-Dear u can have serum Beta hcg (blood pregnancy test) to check your pregnancy status.
-if urine pregnancy test is positive then beta hcg is more likely will be positive.
So to check pregnancy healthy progression u can Repeat beta hcg after 48 hrs.
If beta hcg increase is More then 60% then it's healthy progressive pregnancy, it beta hcg is increased but it's increase level is less then 60%then it's alarming (Ectopic and need urgent intervention)so report Gynae Emergency (if positive pregnancy test with one sided lower abdomen report Immediately).
Folic acid daily 5 mgs.
