Talk to Gynecologist on Pregnancy Discharge

person-avatar

Asking for Self, Female, 30 years old, Lahore

Is it normal to have jelly-like or stringy bloody discharge during pregnancy? It is dark brown or maroon, happens atleast once or twice every week. Placenta is 3 cm away from OS, everything else is normal as per ultrasound. Patient is mostly on rest with very restricted activity, pelvic rest also. Then why is there such discharge and is it dangerous? Should we be worried?

If the scan and fetal movement is ok, there is nothing to worry
This may be due to low lying placenta

Continue with the precautions

Can occur dt low lying placenta. Continue bed rest. If bleeding is more than need to go to hospital.
