Asking for Other, Female, 24 years old, Lahore
She is having extreme pain(continuous for more then 4-6 hours) from almost 2 weeks in her stomach and uterus. She had brown spots and few red bleeding spots as well( Red once and brown 2-3 times). Is it normal or is it a sign of miscarriage? from last 2 nights she had very bad vomiting (very extreme sour in taste)

- Dear how much gestational age ???how many weeks pregnancy ?had viability scan ?previous obs ,medical ,gynae ,drug history ??
- it's better to have detailed evaluation for her and send her detailed history .
bleeding with pain is suggestive of Threatened Miscarriage .
pain and vormitings could be due to Urine infection as well.
- vormitings till 18 wks could occur with out infection as well but after that less usual .
- have complete treatment of any health issue issue like diabetes ,thyroid etc .
-if baby is active and Health in scan she should have tab duphaston 10 mgs 8 hrly to give hormonal support to Pregnancy .
- urinalysis,urine culture , ultrasound,complete blood count,urea, creatinine and Electrolytes needed as well.
- can have tab cyclizine 50 mgs 8 hrly 30 mins before meals.
- have plenty of fluids ,juices and soups .
- have short Frequent meals .
- better to report Emergency gynae to have Detailed Evaluation .

Please take her to hospital or gynaecologist to get evaluated.
She needs to see a gynecologist for proper assessment of her symptoms
She should see a gynaecologist and have an Usg done to see viability and placental localisation

Thanks a lot for for all the support. I need to know one more thing as she is back to her home town with her parents and its been almost 3 weeks she had her miscarriage but suddenly from last night she is having bleeding. Is it normal? She is taking proper care of her having good diet.
She used stairs a lot(too much) in the past few days, can this be the reason of bleeding again?

Thanks for the response, she is having bleeding now(passing clots). What should be the best diet for her now? She is diabetic also and its her 7th week. Please recommend some vitamins and tests which she should get done.

Dear she need Transvaginal scan as urgent to evaluate need of urgent intervention .
- she can have iron and calcium with vitamen D supplements ,but at present need to check need of urgent intervention as passing clots .
-she might need intravenous fluids along with management of bleeding .
- may need some blood investigations as well so better to have Transvaginal scan now .
