Asking for Self, Female, 25 years old, Karachi
Lmp 23 feb, 2019 periods 8 days late. IC during ovulating days. Negative HPts breast tenderness, cramping, lower back pain. What should I do?
Get beta hcg test done in blood and take panadol for pain.

-periods can be delayed due to illness ,medications ,hormonal Imbalance ,sudden weight gain and weight loss ,strict Diet etc.
- when over due periods u can have symmptoms as u described in your description of issue .
- have Serum beta hcg .to check Exactly Pregnancy status .
- if beta hcg positive ,report Symmotoms ( Especially one sided Lower abdominal pain ) to Gynae Emergency .Can have folic acid and if remains Asymmptmatic then can have scan after 2 wks .
if beta hcg negative report and discuss here or with local gynae Specialist along with detailed history.

Similar thing happened to me in september as well. my husband lives out of city whenever he comes to karachi and we two get intimate my periods get overdue along with all the described symptoms. What could be the reason?
Last time I consulted a dr. she prescribed me duphaston and a 21 day course of meliane to regular my cycle. After that from nov till feb my cycle was regular (before sep-oct my cycle was regular as well) until we met in march, and I missed my cycle in march. I don't want to carry on these period regularizing tablets and want to cure the root cause due to which this is happening. please guide me.

Have beta hcg to check Pregnancy status .if beta hcg comes positive have Evaluation in Gynae Emergency( especially if one sided lower abdominal pain )
If beta hcg positive if u don't want to have hormones to have periods as I describe then better to wait for periods
And have blood tests ( progesterone , testosterone ,fsh and Lh ,insulin ,prolectin ,thyroid function test ) and Transvaginal scan.
Follow with reports .
Have balanced diet ,weight and Bmi.
Daily walk ,Exercise and walk .
If pregnancy test is negative , then have withdrawals bleeding after taking harmones , please see a gynaecologist if trying to conceive or if periods are irregular
