Asking for Other, Female, 27 years old, Lahore
Female, 27, had severe urine infection as a 9 month old baby. Later the problem became recurrent in her teens. Now she has not had UTI in quite a while but it re-appears when she fasts consecutively. Is there any medicine that can be taken at Sehri or Iftar that can prevent UTI so she can keep consecutive fasts?

Drink atleast 8 glass of water daily, if more is good + drink home made juice of citric fruit like kinu, one or two glass daily. Crane-berry is very good to eat of make juice at home. Take coriander ( dhaniya ) and boil it with water and drink, one cup daily. Eat yogurt one or two cups daily.
Stop oily food, stop samosa, pakora etc. Eat boiled eggs daily, no more fried eggs.
Reduce spices and oil from your food. If you can, stop all spices and oil, boiled food is good and natural.
Never try to stop or hold your urine. When you feel, go to washroom without delay, and should empty your bladder, don't rush to come out immediately, take your time to be empty.
Stop taking stress and start walk 30 min in the morning and 30 min in the evening + 30 min of other sports activity daily.
