Hello. I m 18 weeks pregnant and will travel to isb and murree from karachi next week so it would be my 19th week of pregnancy. Planing to travel via Bussines train till Islamabad then by road to murree. And by air to karachi back. Is it safe? As my reports are normal Alhumdulillah and feeling good except sometimes bp low and dizziness.
You need certificate from doctor about safety of air travel after 20 weeks. No airline will allow travel without certificate. Additionally for travel by train u just need to know about the cervical length. Your recent ultrasound report might have the values or just see your gyneacologist she may guide you.
Air travel is safe up till 32weeks if all things r normal.. train travel really shouldn’t be a problem .. just avoid long sitting with legs hanging down.. try to walk around periodically to get ur blood pumping .. and keep urself hydrated with fluids .. u should be fine .. at 19 weeks I’m sure u r not showing so I really don’t think a fitness certificate is required especially since it’s a domestic flight
All travel is stressful for the pregnant patient
And trips should only be made if absolutely necessary
