Asking for Wife, Female, 38 years old, Talagang, Chakwal
My wife was diagnosed with stage III ovarian cancer last year. 6 cycles of chemotherapy used. In March 2019 she was operated. In May her abdomen filled with asitic fluid again post operative chemotherapy didn't work. In June her intestine blocked. Then in August she was operated again but unfortunately Dr could not succeed. Now intestine blockage have become more savior.she can only use liquid like juice etc. What is next medicine or any other process available for her?
First I need to know about type of chemo given mean injections. There are option available still in chemo as well as targeted therapy

Dear it’s quite unfortunate.Better she must be assessed properly by Consultant Oncologist with all previous reports & management. I feel if there is complete intestinal obstruction then it is an emergency.A surgeon needs to be contacted immediately.

Sir Dr recently operated her for the second time to remove intestinal obstruction but unsuccessful because tumor spread throughout the abdominal cavity and also to liver. So the Surgeon was not been able to remove intestinal obstruction.

Then better see Oncologist immediately.There are few good combinations of chemotherapy of which this advanced Cancer might respond very well.

If at present, she is in obstruction, then BYPASS or STOMA will be first option. Then targeted therapy can be considered.
Given the history, perhaps a symptom control plan seems appropriate. However, should see a medical oncologist with details of prior treatment.
