Asking For Self, Male 61, Rawalpindi
My doctor prescribed me three beta blockers together in small doses, rather than increasing the dose of a single beta blocker. Is it OK to take the nebivolol in morning, tenormin in afternoon and inderal at night. In fact this combination has improved my palpitations a lot. Please advise.
hi
this is rubbish and criminal.
what is indication for use of b blocker .there is no grounds to use 2 drugs of same class simultaneously what to talk of 3 .you must ask (i am even ashamed of calling this person a doctor) what is his rationale and justification ?
if you could tell us about your medical history and other medications one might be able to advise you better.

Thanks for your concern.
I suffer from Pvcs.
The BB in low doses is more cardio selective.
I have been given 3 BBs in lowest doses and is working fine.
Doc initially tried with single BB with increasing doses but no effect. Just side effects were increasing.
This combination has been arrived at after 6 months of hit and trial and is quite effective.
Doc says it's only for me and don't advise any one else to try this combination.
MY SERIOUS CONCERN IS ITS LONG TIME USE AND SOME IRREVERSIBLE DAMAGE.
PLEASE ADVISE.
Sorry for late reply as I was waiting for docs response.
Now my BP is well in range and pvcs are quite rare. Before this medication the count in hotler monitor used to be 5000/day, and now latest count shows less than 1000/24hrs.
