It is not clear from your description what exactly was the problem. Why
would the doctor recommend colonoscopy and MRI if he/she was sure there was
no cancer? Kindly visit with your mother with her medical record for a
detailed evaluation and appropriate treatment. You can schedule an
appointment by calling 03016062612.

My apologies for the earlier reply. I just saw the attachments. Yes I agree
the type of tumor they have removed, while itself benign, represents a
high risk for development of cancer in the large intestine. Colonsocopy
should help assess the entire intestine and remove any suspicious lesions.

Anonymous Thank u for your reply
i just want to ask k MIR karwananbhi zaruri hai ya colonoscopy sy bhi yeh confirm ho sakta hai?

Dr. Shahzad Amjad Khan In my opinion, the decision for CT/MRI should be taken after a full colonoscopy.

Your mother probably had not piles, she was actually having polyp, which
caused bleeding ,
She definitely needs colonoscopy, you can come to me for second opinion , at
Ammar medical complex , 8 jail road,at 7.30 pm, all days except sat and
Sunday
Further treatment , will be decided after. Colonoscopy
Thanks

Kindly follow your doctor ,get colonoscopy to look for any other polyps or
suspicious areas in the colon or rectum and also CT /MRI .get second
opinion after colonoscopy..noone can guide u without it ....ideally your
surgeon should have gone colonoscopy before rectal polyp excision but if it
has happened now go for colonoscopy ..thanks
