Asking for Wife, Female, 25 years old, Karachi
My wife has recently stopped breastfeeding my daughter as she is ALHAMDOLILLAH nearing 2 years. But my wife is having a lot of pain and swelling in his breasts and they are becoming very hard plus according her the hokes are also blocked with aome white material. My query is to suggest me any medicibes or remedies to resolve the issue JazakALLAH

this is pretty natural as she is still secreting hormones in brain to make her breast to lactateand get engorge , though with time its going to get better but if she is very symptomatic she can use tablet Bromocriprine 2.5 mg 2 days and then increase to 1 tablet twice/day for 3 wks .
this should suppress her lactation and subsequently reduce engorgement and pain .
