My jaw is locking again and again it happen any time whenever i try to eat something sometime without any movement and sometime while i am laughing i dont know why i am very worried
please keep yourself on soft diet and avoid excessive mouth opening and hard, chewy food for two weeks also get an opg xray and go to a dentist for tmj assessment.
Jaw lock is when you are unable to move it and requires a maneuver of lower jaw to unlock it.. On the other hand jaw clicking (tuk tuk sound) is a frequently occurring phenomenon..
If you are experiencing clicking which is asymptomatic (that is without any pain) then it will eventually subside by doing certain jaw exercises and taking precautionary measures.
Whereupon if you are experiencing lock jaw situation then it requires thorough clinical examination via radiographs, extra oral and intra Oral examination .. But again after careful diagnosis proper treatment can be carried out to resolve your problem. Need not to worry at all.. Because worrying also is one of the cause of jaw lock.. I am also experiencing thz clicking sound when ever i yawing and when my jaw is lock there is only space for a finger to get in my mouth unable to open full mouth for even a bite but i am not experiencing any pain

You need to go get yourself checked.. The treatment is staged which requires multidisciplinary team approach.. May involve an Orthodontic specialist and a Maxillofacial specialist to be precise.. Without proper diagnosis no one can tell you exact treatment..

we need to rule the main cause of frequently locking jaw .It could be due to dentition pattern, parafunctional habits . Please visit us for evaluation and solution of the problem.There is no need to worry it is totally treatable.:)

Properly evaluation needed precautionary measures are; avoid yawning, don’t bite pen, nails etc (par functional habits), limit mouth opening, heat massage therapy on face area near to ear opening ( anterior to both ears) also take Tab nuberol forte thrice daily for 1 week also visit qualified dentist to identify the root cause

Get urself checked by maxillofacial surgeon. You have TMD, thats causing locking. For now take nuberol forte twice a dat for 5 days, eat soft food, massage warm olive oil near your ear, and put hand under your lower jaw while yawning or laughing to give support to your jaw
