Talk to General Physician on Chlamydia Symptoms Not Fading Away

person-avatar

Asking for Self, Male, 32 years old, Poland

Ive been tested positive for Chlamydia trachomatis. Ive been taking Doxycyline twice a day (100mg) so far for 1 week with just a little improvement. I still have some itching (much rarer though), no more burining while urinating but what worries me the most is that I still have watery discharge during the day and milky after night from urethra. Wherever I read everyone says that problem with discharge should already fade away after 7 days. I still have 6 dozes and im going to take them once per day now, but is it normal? Maybe my case is immune to doxycyline or maybe Im just exaggerating and those symptoms will fade away in no time ?

I was diagnosed using PCR test from urethra. Maybe that Azithromycin would be better. But is it possible that symptoms will fade away? I have only 3 more days left to complete the treatment with doxycyline. (20 dozes total)
