Hallo once again Im here. My history is following.
- 1st doctor prescribed 7 days of doxycyline twice a day - it helped a bit, I had no more burning while urinating and discharge was 50% less but I still had symptoms.
- 2nd doctor told me that I should be taking doxycyline 14 days twice a day. After next 10 days of treatment (alredy 17) and still having symptoms (itching from urethra, a couple of watery drops from urethra during the day and 1 milky drop after night) I decided to write on this forum.
- Here I was adviced to take azithtromicyn together with doxycyline once again. I took azithromicyn and still had doxyciline for 7 days. Its been 2 days since I took azithromicyn and my disharge has intensified. Is it normal? Maybe it will start working soon and symptoms will be finally gone? I honestly dont know what to do now. I was thinking maybe I have something more than Chlamydia but my symptoms are typical for it. Doxycyline was doing its job but very slowly and suddenly

I had PCR test from urethra and Chlamydia came up positive. I was not tested for trichomoniasis (it may give simmilar symptoms) or gonorrhoea (very unlikely - I had watery discharge with a little bit of white fluid). Im gonna be tested tommorow for these two although Im taking antibiotics. It may influence my test but Im gonna make them anyway.
I also discussed my problem with one doctor and he said my chlamydial infection could be complicated, bacteria could reach deeper parts where doxycyline cant reach so well - that would explain why doxycyline is causing 75% improvement in dealing with my symptoms but not entirely. If yes then how you treat complicated chlamydia and how you diagnose it? Another idea was that it could be parallel STD, so I was prescribed Metronizadol just in case I had trichomoniasis.

In the begining I had vast initial discharge (watery with white fluid), burning while urinating and pain on ejacultation. After first week of doxycyline only discharge left (50% less) and there is only a very slow improvement from that day. It is better of course but I still have a drop of milky substance after night from urethra and a little bit of watery during the day. Its very little now but its still there. This discharge is always after itching in urethra (1-2 drops of watery fluid). This itching is in 1 spot 3-4 cm from the end of urethra.

Any ideas why would azythromycin intensify my discharge?
I took metronidazol just in case and it didint help so my guess is that I didint have parallel trichomoniasis. Im still taking doxycyline and it improved my discharge by 80%. Seems like my chlamydia is resistant though to some extent.
On top of gonorrhoea test I also made test from urine towards chlamydia and they will test antibiotic resistance. Maybe it will help. But honestly I dont know what to do. I should not be making tests during treatment.
There is still a couple of clear watery drops during the day, and 1 big drop after night (clear+white substance) and its stays that way with no improvement.

Both tests negative, urine test towards chlamydia also negative (probably because of antibiotic treatment). Doxycline is improving my discharge slowly, but I still have mild urethritis symptoms. Itching (sometimes), white marks on underwear (although its hard to squeeze any drop from urethra during the day now), 1 big drop of yellow substance after night when I squeeze my urethra in the morning. My guess is that im gonna countinue taking doxycyline and keep doing that if it keeps improving and then Ill stop in 2 weeks. If my urethris comes back I ll test urine towards chlamydia together with antibiotic that will work for it. I didnt try erythromycin but azythromycin made my symptons worse so its my last chance.
