Thank you for your concern, before getting rid of the medicine it is important to see the response of the medications if yes, are symptoms are completely controlled on medicines, if not then there are the options to buildup the dose and to assess the reasons of anxiety which can be deal through counselling , duration of treatment depends upon diagnosis, duration of illness, how many episodes has occurred in life, Treatment has two phases one is acute treatment to cover the symptoms and then maintainable phase which reduces the relapse of the disease, you need to visit a psychiatrist thanks

Dr Aneel has rightly pointed out. You need re assessment by your psychiatrist. Lack of attention may be a symptom of anxiety pointing towards inadequate dose or duration of treatment . In any case you need to consult psychiatrist to decide about either to increase the dose or change the medicine or to add psychotherapy. In any way stopping medicine on your own may not be a right decision
