if you have to watch porn and/or masturbate to escape intense internal distress due to anxiety or depression, then this problem can be solved once your anxiety and depression are adequately managed.you should get a psychiatric consultation.
i would suggest a psychological treatment for that it will be more manageable for you if you want to avoid medications

help me i m also having that problem.i m 21 watching porn from 7 y.i try many times and still trying hardly to get rid of this.i need your help.i posted my problem many times but now it is not approving.i feel laziness,don't like things,can't study,even i did not go to college properly,I don't know may be it causes problem in me.may Allah save us from such haram things.i m waiting for u.help as soon as possible.

it is to let you know that i am suffering this compulsive porn use from 8 years along with over masturbating...i find myself extremely helpless in handling this ...its out of control and its being a part of my routine while its taking over my disciplines i am from a broken family living with step mother and my real father but the environment provided to me by my real father is inducing much stress and anxiety and obviously an unsupportive environment...so i am still being bullied among my friends badly even by my family relatives and i use porn and masturbation to deal with social anxiety and anxiety of constant bullies even i am 21 and still criticised by my father and bullied by people please i need help as i need to quit my compulsive porn addiction and need to find permanant solutions to my mental illnesses and concentration issues that also impacting my career negatively
