I am suffering from OCD for 11 years now since my father's death. It started with religious OCD where I started to follow Islam but it became an obsession, I was never satisfied I prayed properly and repeated again and again. Then I got sexual OCD along with religious, where I would feel I would rape any girl I see, it became difficult for me to attend any family functions and meet with female relatives and colleagues in University. I had bad grades due to all this anxiety and dropped out of uni. Currently I don't feel religious anymore, actually it's the complete opposite, I feel there's no god, no afterlife and this gives me anxiety about the purpose of my life and I don't feel like doing anything, afterall it's all useless if there's no afterlife and after some time no one is going to remember me, I am alive on the outside but inside I don't really feel alive, I wish I was not born in the first place.

You have been dealing with this from really long, and it must be difficult, please talk to an expert for a few sessions to be able to deal with it better
Aoa, some unresolved conflicts cause problems in current life. For that purpose you have to take counselling sessions. You will feel better after that.
can u can share your age??? and what is your birthh order ?? OCD is a disorder in which your thought control by yourself so treatment is in your hand try t think positive every little event of your life and then write it in a diray that i do a good deed must take halthy diet and morning walk ....

Got it, your obsessions are getting stronger, and it seems as some cognitive distortions are also developing now. Do you do any compulsion to reduce such obsessions or to press your anxiety? Also have you ever visit any psychiatrist for medicine? Suffering from 11 years is also painful.

you should take sessions psychologist decides that what type of treatment she/he will used for you but in shah Allah you cope up your problem .
