9 Skin Whitening Remedies You Can Try At Home

Lemon juice with Rosewater:

Mix gram flour with rose water to make a paste. And apply on your face. Leave this paste on your face for 20-30 minutes and then wash with water.

Dried orange peel with yogurt:

Orange peel is rich in vitamin C that has the best whitening properties. Similarly, yogurt has also whitening properties and it makes your skin glowing.

Dry the orange peels in sunlight for a few days. Then grind them into powder and use it with yogurt by making a paste. Let the paste dry on your face and then wash it off with water.

Potato:

Potato is rich in vitamin C and other minerals. It helps in lightening the color of your skin.

Cut slices of potato and put them on your face especially on dark spots for 15-20 minutes. Then wash your face with water. You can also grate the potato and use its juice on your skin.

Turmeric with milk/yogurt:

Turmeric has antioxidant properties and it helps in reducing melanin production.

By mixing turmeric powder in yogurt or milk, you can make a paste to apply on your skin. Leave that paste on your face for 20-25 minutes. And then wash with water. It will give extra brightness to your face.

Papaya paste:

Papaya fruit has a lot of enzymes that help in gaining glowing skin. You can apply the pulp of fresh papaya on your face to see the results.

Cucumber:

Cucumber is helpful in getting rid of dark circles under your eyes. This gives you even-toned skin. similarly, you can also apply grated cucumber and its water on your face to get glowing skin.

Honey:

Honey has moisturizing properties. It can be used alone or in combination with other natural remedies to lighten your skin tone. It also has anti-aging properties that mean it makes your skin look younger.

Aloe vera:

Aloe vera gel has a lot of health benefits, especially for your skin and hair. It has cooling and anti-inflammatory properties that help you to gain brightness on your face.

Apply aloe vera gel on your face and leave it for 15-20 minutes. Wash your face with water.
