As much as you look forward to the summers, it can wreak havoc for your hair. There are so many things in summer that can give us major hair problems. Be it the heat, sweat or the hair products we’re using. All of those starts acting up and our hair becomes the victim. Consequently, we compromise the look of our hair, we lose our hair and we see them grow dull and rough. Summer hair woes are many. But this, in any way does not mean you can’t work on improving them. What an ideal time we have to pay attention to our hair, COVID-19 lockdown is undoubtedly beneficial in some ways. With adequate care, you can easily get rid of these summer hair concerns. Here’s what you can do.

The Few Major Issues We Experience

    1. Dull And Lifeless Hair

It is during the summers that we start experiencing skin issues and hair problems. The moist that is in the hair and is in the form of sweat, does not absorb but stays above our hair. Moreover, several hair products build up dryness as they are made to take away all the moist from your hair. Unfortunately, this only leads to your hair turning dull and lifeless.

    2. Dry, Damaged Hair

The strong UV rays in summers can actually affect the keratin levels in your hair and you’re not even aware of it. The excessive exposure to UV rays leads our hair towards dehydration and split ends breakout. This won’t fix on its own and will only get worse if you do not take care of it properly. You can treat your hair problems in the simplest ways possible.

    3. Frizzy hair

Frizzy hair is the worst thing you can get. You can not afford to have that bunch of frizzy hair on your head when there’s a lot to plan. Get yourself a good moisturising shampoo and conditioner to save yourself from this embarrassment.

How To Fix Your Troubled Hair

    1. Deep Conditioning On Regular Basis

Exactly like the winter season, your hair needs a proper conditioning treatment. Trying giving yourself a nice homemade hair treatment. Look for hair masks with natural moisturising ingredients such as avocado, aloe vera, olive oil and almond oil to hydrate your hair in a better way. Use a hydrating hair mask at least once a week to treat your hair problems.

    2. Overnight Hair Treatments

Have you heard about night time repairing? Well, night time is the best time to give your hair and skin the attention they need. Nighttime repair is just as effective for your hair as it is for your skin. Apply a mild moisturising oil to your hair from roots to ends and leave it overnight. This helps thoroughly nourish and moisturise your hair.

    3. Coconut Oil Mask

Coconut oil has amazing nourishing and hydrating effects. Try mixing up some curry leaves and coconut and boil them together. Use this mixture in your hair and leave it for a while, it has surprisingly amazing effects on your hair.

    4. Deep Cleansing

Whether you have super oily scalp and hair or not, deep cleansing and also giving your hair proper detoxification is important. Excessive sweating in summer can affect your hair health and can also make them icky and heavy. Wash your hair with a detoxifying shampoo and do not use a hairdryer to dry them.
